Here's how you can make fresh yoghurt at home using the Hansells Yoghurt Maker:
Step 1: Mix with Cold Water
- Pour 250ml of clean drinking water into the yoghurt tub. Add yoghurt mix, secure lid and shake well. Make up to the 500g level with more cool water. Replace lid, shake well then release air from container and reseal.
Step 2: Hansells Yoghurt Maker
- Pour boiling water inside the Hansells Yoghurt Maker till the appropriate climate mark. Usually, the normal climate mark will be sufficient. Then, place both tubs of the yoghurt mixture into the Yoghurt Maker, and immediately close the lid. Do not reopen the lid at any point during the setting period to refrain from letting any retained heat out.
Step 3: Let it sit
- Leave for 8 hours until set. You may leave it for a longer period of time for a more tangy and acidic yoghurt. Remove from maker after it has set, and place in the fridge to cool.
